The Main Event: 2008 All Eyes On Me Achievement Awards Ceremony
The 2008 All Eyes On Me Achievement Awards ceremony is a classy & elegant celebration for the outstanding achievements of individuals in holy hip hop. Over 30 awards are presented to recipients in various categories such as lyricist of the year, minister of the year, song of the year, artist of the year, soul artist of the year & many more. However in celebration of becoming a national awards show, we will honor the pioneers that got us here in 2008.
Attire: One of the many attractions of the night is the different styles of clothing people wear. From tuxedos to Sean John velour sets, from silk dresses to Baby Phat gauchos, it is plain to see that the awards show brings out the best outfits in Texas. Remember, the cameras are rolling and flashes are flashing so dress to impress!
Date: Every year the awards show takes place in June. This year the actual ceremony takes place on Saturday June 21. Reminder: There are other events over the course of the weekend. Check weekend schedule for event times.
Time: The evening takes place from 6pm to 9pm, beginning with performances by some of the best artists in the nation. Throughout the night, awards and performances are the common theme; however, we like to throw a few twists in the show every now and then. Don’t miss any of the action, get there early! Seating begins at 5pm. Reminder: The Red Carpet Meet & Greet starts at 4:30 pm.
