Every so often you come acoss a trio of emcees along the likes of a De La Soul, Brand Nubian, and on some songs, The Beastie Boys. I first heard of The Remnant while riding in a van on a singles outting with my church friends back in ‘05. When we put in the CD of their sophmore album, After School Special, no one knew what to expect except for the person who brought the CD. Upon hearing it, we laughed hard and nodded are heads even harder as we heard the beats come on right after the skits. After listening to that album I wanted to meet them and after doing so I was not disappointed. So now I'm making it my business that the rest of the hip hop community gets to know them as well.

The Remnant brings a sixth sense of creativity to the game....something that has been missing from hip hop for a long time. If it was a mathematical equation it would go something like this: Laughter X Dope Skills X Funky Beats= Platinum Status.
