DISCLAIMER: This article is about WorldStarHipHop.com (WSHH), a website that publishes very ungodly, offensive, immoral, dehumanizing, and spiritually destructive content. I understand that by bring attention to something, one potentially runs the risk of introducing others to something they may not have known of otherwise. Please understand that the goal and intent of this article is not to promote WSHH (whether directly or indirectly), but to address what I consider to be an increasingly dangerous trend within Christian Hip-Hop and among Christians in general. I researched and wrote this article only with the strength and grace the Lord gave me, and I strongly discourage anyone from visiting this website. Lastly, some of the content referenced in this article may only be for mature audiences. God bless.
UPDATE: After seeing the article, Jin hit me up and showed me a similar article he wrote last year. Check it out. It's encouraging to know that others feel the same way.

Article Begins Here...
WorldStarHipHop.com is no secret. I’ve known of the website for a few years now. I don’t quite remember when I first learned about it, but it was before I became co-owner of DaSouth.com.
I never had a reason to visit the site, but I would always see its video player posted somewhere – either on MySpace, Facebook, forums, blogs, websites, etc. From the jump, it wasn’t hard to tell what WSHH was about - nonsense. Their video player was one of the hottest I had ever seen as well. But anyway…
WSHH launched in 2005 and is one of the most heavily trafficked websites on the web today. And I don't mean just among Hip-Hop websites either. It has an Alexa ranking of 267 in the United States, and 1,019 worldwide. Google has nearly 4 million indexed web pages for this one site alone.
Its founders is "Q," aka "The Talent Breaker," and in his own words, here is how WSHH got started, derived from an interview he did with ckhid.com:
I started NYCPhatMixtapes.com and began distributing Hip-Hop mixtapes. Eventually touring with 50 Cent and G-Unit, we stayed on the road and I wasn't home anymore. I was no longer going home to my housing projects and stopped shipping out mixtapes as I should have been. At that point people were e-mailing me like ‘Yo, where's my order, it's been forever.’ That's when I realized I needed a way to get people a product without having to mail anything. That's when I thought of WorldStarHipHop, it was originally going to be a mixtape download site.
And the reason it’s called WorldStarHipHop?
I traveled the world booking shows for DJ Vlad and DJ Whoo Kid. I traveled the world and realized the world loved Hip-Hop. Everybody was going crazy for Hip-Hop, which had me like ‘wow’ when I saw it. So then I thought of the idea ‘we are stars in the world of Hip Hop.’ So then I started WorldStarHipHop and things jumped off in 2005. And that's the year it all began.
And how did Q know this site would be successful?
Once WorldStarHipHop was launched I knew it would be 'It.' I just needed the right partner and right team to get me over that hump. So I was already thinking outside the box and had celebrity nude pictures and sex tapes, doing the wild side. I was doing Poker and everything. WorldStar was not your typical Hip Hop site. It was definitely more thinking outside the box. Things outside the box always grow faster than the average, the norm. I just didn't know when it would (blow up), so I just keep pushing and pushing.
A business coach of mine says all of the time that "success is inevitable when you combine two unrelated industries together," and that is what Q has done with WSHH. He has combined the Hip-Hop industry with the porn industry. When WSHH started, it may have been about "nude pictures," but it has since turned into a full-blown pornographic website.
