This week I want to introduce yall to a dope mc/producer that goes by the name of O-Ski. It’s almost like if Timberland or any of your favorite producers were also rappers that would be equivalent to what O-Ski is in hip hop. With unspeakable talent on the boards and on the mic, this dude needs be on more guest features and definitely on everyone's radar.

It’s almost like if Timberland or any of your favorite producers were also rappers that would be equivalent to what O-Ski is in hip hop. I first met O-Ski back in 2005 when he was with his group, P.K.'s 4 L.I.F.E. They came out with a mixtape called "Church 2 The Streets Vol. 1" and on that mixtape O ripped a Dipset beat so hard that it's almost equivalent to putting a sheet a paper through the shredder in your office area. In my opinion it's probably one of the illest verses I've heard since I've been exposed to this Christian Hip Hop game.
Follow me to Heaven’s Gate I ain't David Koresh/ But Jesus is the way he eliminates stress. I'm talkin' God in the Flesh he died to resurrect, I must confess I didn't believe either/ Similar to Jay before he heard "Ether". Either he's no joke or seriously on that tip/ Wasn't thinking about him when I was down in Houston, Texas tryin' to make that flip. I'm ballin' in the D like Rip, stuck to the script, I'm living his word, his word lives in me through verbs and simile. Ill matador metaphor....distinguished linguist/ Type of flame that you can't extinguish, not the one with a mean switch, explain what I mean switch/ Topic style so fly I should've coined it cockpit. Judgment come, duck your head like Ostridge/ Why switch teams when I'm down with the King? Forever gleam like jewels you've never seen, a light quite like mine/Let it shine, let it shine. It's quintessential the game is mental/ The fame of Tinsel Town will bring you down like minstrel. Don't copy cats like stencils, I'm right like pencils/ Lead by the spirit, fam, Christ my kin folk. Life's that simple....don't need Nicole Richie, Devil tried to pitch me all types of curve balls, he soft like Nurf balls, I'm out the park with mine/Barry, Sammie, even Mark with mine, hustle hard with a corporate mind/While yall men be around I'm like Mork with mine/ Praise God so I stick out like a porcupine.
That's what I call grown man hip hop. My boy said he didn't believe in Christ and it was somewhat similar to when Jay didn't believe Nas had the power to come back from his diss track, “The Takeover". And then he heard Nas’ comeback, "Ether", and became a believer of what Nas could do. Or how about when he said his topic style is so fly he should've coined it cockpit, as in the airplane soaring' through the sky. What? That's ill. And my favorite part in the whole verse is when he said he hustles with a corporate mind and while these men are playing on the ground he's like Mork with his hustle, taken from the show "Mork and Mindy" where Mork came from outer space. In other words he's on a whole other level with his hustle.
So for yall cats out there who's lookin' for beats or need a dope guest feature, hit up my boy O-Ski. And to hear more of his skills, download and listen to his mixtape, "On My Grizzly" at www.o-ski.com. Holla
