J Cole started out producing under the great Bruce Bang in 1999 and finally carved out his own niche in 2001. Without the money to purchase music production equipment J Cole formed his sound in software programs speeding up and slowing down samples. J Cole has worked with artist such as, Tre9, J Harrison, Franco B, BAA, Von Won, S.O.M, J Hussa, Younge Hope, and many others.
