Great news! Michael Jackson, "The King of Pop," accepted the "King of Kings" into his life three weeks ago. Here is a Facebook status that Erica and Tina of Mary Mary made today about 4 hours ago.
"Last night we received some good news from Terri McFaddin-Solomon who is good friends with Sandra Crouch. Three weeks ago Sandra and Andre' spent some time with their close friend, Michael Jackson. Michael asked Andre` to play, "It Won't Be Long And We'll Be Leaving Here." Michael then prayed with Sandra and Andre and accepted Christ into his heart. Now he's singing in the heavenly choir.! Our hearts rejoice!"
The Lord knows what he's doing! PRAISE GOD!!!
UPDATE - 06/28/09
Here are status updates posted on Andre Crouch's Facebook page (administered by Dave Nassaney). They were made yesterday and we've compiled the whole message together.
"There was NO actual “sinners prayer” however, but they did talk and pray about Jesus and the anointing of the Holy Spirit. They also told him, “Michael, we consider you as our son”, and he said, “Yes, yes, yes”, and he gave him his latest music on a CD, and he told him, “Andrae’ I trust you with this”, and gave him CD’s of 2 songs, unpublished, …beautiful music. He still had his Christmas decorations up at home.... He first heard it in NY, and loved it, and wanted it on tape. He had the engineer tape the song sang to him by Andrae’ and Sandra. He definitely had an “encounter” with them, Andrae’ says, “he did NOT reject Jesus or the prayer when they prayed, and gladly joined in prayer.” He usually doesn’t touch anybody, but he touched them, and held their hands in a circle as they sang and prayed... so Andrae' and Sandra explained to him about the "anointing" and about Jesus. He wanted to know what makes your hands go up, and makes you “come out of yourself”, and what gives a "spirituality" to the music? He then requested to hear his favorite song that he loves, and wanted then to sing to him, so they sang that song to him, and joined hands and sang together, and he said, “it was beautiful”...According to Andrae’, who was relaying to Verdine to tell me over the phone just now, Andrae' and Sandra did in fact visit with MJ 2 times, once ar the recording studio, and once at his home in the last 2 months, as recently as 3 weeks ago, asking for prayer concerning the anointing of the Holy Spirit, and how he could make his music more "spiritual."... To all the NEW fans on this page, I am Dave Nassaney, the page administrator. About once a month, I get together with Andrae' and show him all your posts, and he trys to respond to as many as he can. He appreciates all of you very much, and is really "blown away" by the number of, and love from your comments. he truely had no clue, and is very grateful that you are all still out there praying for him, and loving him."
1988 Grammy Performance
Here's Michael Jackson performing "Man in the Mirror" with Andre Crouch at the 1988 Grammy Awards.
How could I have ever forgotten, that every man who dies before his father, his brother say's at the press conference May Allah be with you!!! I know me being Christian that's the first thing my family would say!!! Silly me!!!
Let's quit being silly please. I do not know your family heritage, but mine is completely muslim on my father's side. Many muslims do not honor your Christian faith. Even my father told me that he was disowning me as his son because of my Christian faith. If my father's eyes I was always considered a muslim - no matter what I proclaimed.
The bottomline is just because someone says "May Allah be with you" has nothing to do with your relationship with God. Since when do those who do not believe in your God, speaking at a press conference reflect what you believe as a person?
Jermaine is the one who said "May Allah be with you" because he (Jermaine) is a Muslim. Why would you expect him to say another other than that if that's HIS belief? He certainly wouldn't say may "Jesus" be with you.
Bro, it seems you are always in the middle of controversy in these discussions - mainly from a negative standpoint due to your sarcasm. Please reflect on that.

I have been praying for the salvation of Michael Jackson since I was 14 years (im 24 now) and the Lord God answers prayers espcially those that are from HIS will and the salvation of people are that of God's will so i truly believe MJ accepted. Why else would he wanted to know how to connect with the Holy Spirit? I ahve great hope for MJ. By the way I prayed for Mase's salvation when i was 13 and a yeard later he gave his life to the Lord so Jesus answers prayers. R.I.P Michael!

Michael Jackson's death: Jermaine Jackson speaks 6:52 PM | June 25, 2009 At a brief news conference in the auditorium of the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center this evening, Jermaine Jackson sighed audibly several times before addressing reporters.
“This is hard,” he said softly. “My brother, the legendary King of Pop, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2009 at 2:26 p.m.... It is believed he passed away of cardiac arrest.”
He said Michael Jackson's personal physician, Dr. Tohme R. Tohme, was with him at the house and had tried to resuscitate him. He said paramedics also tried to revive his brother and “upon arriving at the hospital at 1:14 p.m., a team of doctors, including emergency physicians and a cardiologist, worked to resuscitate him for a period of more than one hour but were unsuccessful.“
Jackson said a definitive cause of death would not be known until an autopsy is performed.
“MAY ALLAH BE WITH YOU ALWAYS, MICHAEL,” Jermaine Jackson said, ending the news conference.
UCLA officials did not say anything about Michael Jackson.
“We’re respecting the family’s wishes with respect to the patients’ privacy,” said hospital spokeswoman Roxanne Moster.
During the news conference, fans in the hospital courtyard lit candles and sang Michael Jackson songs.

Psalm 115:3
"Our God is in Heaven and He does what He pleases."
Or maybe its the fact that Christians operate in love and would rather take heed in the fact that he was saved and knew Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. It is much more comfoting to know that he had a chance to go to heaven and was not undeniably condemned to Hell. I don't think gullibity is the reason. Compassion, hope and optimism is more like it.
LA what??? more retarded media and their lies. I'm through with this media stuff. Everything that come out of their mouths are lies. I just found out that Michael didn't get plastic surgeries because he wasn't happy with his COLOR or LOOKS. He had the skin disease called VITILIGO..which is a disease that causes pigments of the skin to turn white. And he told people, but of course since media has become "god" for so much people no one would believe him. Only God knows what he went through. Thank God though..he's now chilling in his mansion with our brothers and sisters in Christ as well as our Heavenly Father. Ima see you when i get their Michael!!! The time when the tool that satan uses to deceive so many called "media" is coming to an end soon. God bless!!!

I was so relieved when I read this blog because everytime I was reminded of his death I wondered and prayed that he knew Jesus. Although I strongly disagree with Dustin on the matter of whether or not Jesus saved MJ, I do hope, as he does, that Micheal repented and was free from sin sometime before he died. Because even as we confess with our mouth that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior and are saved, no sin will enter Heaven. I pray for his salvation and that he truly does rest in peace.
To: Yogohey - I think you're missing my point. What I'm saying is that just because someone said something with their lips doesn't mean they were sincere. But WE KNOW that he was sincere because of Jesus' response to him.
To Michael: The LA Times can say what they want. They may not even be aware that Michael made a confession three weeks ago. Actually, I would be 100% that they wouldn't. When it comes to salvation, the last place I'll look to for information is the LA Times, but to friends who were actually with him 3 weeks ago.
L.A. Times. Jackson died a Muslim written by Micheal,

Muslims pay their respects to Michael Jackson 12:02 PM, June 26, 2009 Michael Jackson, the reclusive pop star who dominated the pop charts in the 1980s, passed away yesterday after suffering from cardiac arrest.
Many knew Jackson as the King of Pop, the moonwalker whose soulful music defined a generation. But few were aware of Michael Jackson's connection to Islam.
Although he was raised as a Jehovah's Witness, Jackson reportedly converted to Islam in 2008. Jackson's brother, Jermaine Friday -- who converted to Islam in 1989 -- reported that Jackson took a great interest in Islam after being shown books from his trip to Mecca.
"When I came back from Mecca, I got him a lot of books, and he asked me lots of things about my religion, and I told him that it's peaceful and beautiful," Friday said.
Although Jackson never confirmed his conversion himself, Muslim readers from around the world paid their respects to the deceased pop star.
"Abi here from Cape Town South Africa. As a Muslim, I was very touched by his recent reversion to ISLAM. May ALLAH (God Almighty) grant him a high place in paradise... Amen," said ABDURAHMAAN BAILEY.
"He will stay the star #1 in our hearts . You federate people all over the world through your music. May Allah put his rahma in you.Rest in peace From all your Belgians fans," wrote Nanou.
(Read more after the jump)
"Inna lillaahi wa inna ilayhi raaji'oon From God we come and to HIM we shall return! Rest in Peace, Mikaeel. You are a shining beacon testifying to the fact that ALLAH guides whom HE wills. Allah bestow HIS choicest blessings upon you in the Hereafter. Ayaad Almaas South Africa," wrote Ayaad Almaas.
"dear michael rest in peace may Allah have mercy on you brother and i hope that you will finally find the happiness, comfort and true love that you were seeking in this world but never found. i'm not sad that you died for i'm sure that you are now more comfortable by the will of Allah. praise be to Allah the all mighty for guiding this good man to the right path before he died," said zach salem.
Jesus is the authority so anything He says is true but, He didn't have to say that for us to know the man was saved. Jesus gave us directions for salvation in His own words and through His disciples. We know the man was saved according to Jesus' directions because of what the man said. He showed repentance by not wanting to be taken off the cross. It showed he knew he was guilty. He also showed faith in Jesus by asking Him to remember him.
The fruit wasn't what he said on the cross. The fruit was what Jesus said. That man was a sinner, and if Jesus had not said that he would be in paradise, we'd still consider his final resting place questionable.
... written by yogohey,
June 27, 2009
The fruits that the man on the cross produced were in his confession. The Bible says that the will of God is to believe on Him whom He hath sent. The man was doing the will of God right before he died. If someone is living for a while but producing no fruits then they were never saved. I'm not saying that Michael Jackson didn't produce any fruits because I don't even know him. A person can stumble but, they will never return to the same life that they had before they were saved if they were truly saved.
It is our hope that anyone who has made a decision for Christ will be seen in the Kingdom of Heaven. From the people I go to church with, to the people on this message board, even to your favorite artist - we all hope that they have sincerely accepted Christ Jesus.
Speaking of fruit, can fruits of unrighteousness negate all prior works? If a person has done well in their walk for years, and then suddenly a turn of events takes place that is not becoming of a Christian - what does that fruit speak of in way of that person's salvation? Especially if that person may have been living in sin for the course and span of a year? Do we then count that person as someone who probably does not have a relationship with God, meaning they never made a sincere heartfelt decision for Christ?
No, I wouldn't go as far as saying "no, they were never saved."
I say all of that to say that WE ARE ALL WALKING WITH A HOPE that those around us who profess Christ or even made a decision for Christ on their deathbed meant it. That is a hope.
On the other hand, being able to see a person's faith acted out in their works ADDS CONFIDENCE to our hope. Right now, we have hope that we will see Michael Jackson again and in the Father's arms.
Also, this isn't a matter of evidence. But a matter of some people here not finding the deliverers of the information credible. Just as Mary and Martha went back to report that they had seen the Lord, but were doubted. And they had INDEED seen the Lord. But had it been your favorite artist, friend or preacher there would possibly be a different response and tone to the comments.
Just as we needed not to see any works by the thief on the Cross because Jesus (a credible source) had already declared him saved in saying "This day you will be with me in Paradise."
Bottomline, we all hope that each and every one of us have made a sincere decision for Jesus Christ. You tell me that on the message board. You do good works out in public. But we live in a day and time where folks are very deceitful and living double lives. So why should any of us believe each other?
ALL WE HAVE LEFT IS HOPE. And that's all we have left concerning Michael Jackson.
Lastly, whether it was MJ or the man on the street, I hope all men are saved. Still, when you feel like you know someone though have you never met them, but have seen chronicles of their life for DECADES, you obtain a natural affinity for that person. Just as I'm sure if someone on this board was to die, you'd feel the same way - though you have NEVER met them.
HOPE is all that we have and need. Even our faith in Christ is based upon HOPE. A HOPE that goes beyond the grave, based upon a credible source (someone who was willing to die for us).
Never underestimate hope.

I agree that we don't need to know whether Michael Jackson was truly saved or not because God knows but, I do want to address some verses that I think were taken out of context. In Romans 10:9 it talks about confessing that Jesus is Lord. In those times people would get killed for making that confession. The verse was clearly showing that being saved isn't just accepting Jesus into your heart but, it involves turning toward God (repentance). If anyone says that they have accepted Jesus but, they haven't repented then they were never saved, and they never really received Jesus. We should see a change in someone's life if they have been saved. The Bible says by their fruits we shall know them. They might only be a little better at first but, they will be a new creature.

WOW...some of you guys on here are soooo deep! A little too deep for me. Hey I am a christian, and it is only between MJ & GOD, but the bottom line is there are a lot of rumors going around. The media stretches things, and unless I hear it or see it on TV from someone who was close to him, then I will believe it. They can say tomorrow that he was a "devil worshipper", or "atheist". Is everyone on here going to be saying the same thing then. Come on "church" people. We are beating each other up for having an opinion. Ya'll need to get your head out of the clouds and come down to earth. NO ONE ON HEAR KNEW MICHAEL JACKSON PERSONALLY, SO LET THE PEOPLE CLOSE TO HIM SPEAK!!

This is what the Bible talks about in 1 Corinthians 13 when it says "love believes all things." A true kingdom believer believes in love, others are bitter in doubt because of their own less than abundant christian life.
We'll truly never know here on Earth, but by the mouth of two or more witnesses words are established, and so why not believe the best for this amazing entertainer in LOVE instead of judging his public life.

Rom 10:9-10 people John 1:12 lets just believe the scriptures and if Micheal Jackson put his faith in Christ he shall not be put to shame. I believe in the scriptures so I believe if he confessed and believe unto salvation then he's saved nuff said. Why are some of you guys trying to be Holy Spirit Jr? Don't make salvation a thing of works who knows what this man may have been doing in his heart he may have been closer to God then most of us on this site.
And don't trip if they find out he died because of all the prescription drugs because I know when I first received Christ all my addictions didn't just magically disappear some of them left right away but the more ingrained ones took sanctification.
Why do we need Proof..God is all knowing. written by docwatson,
June 27, 2009
I don't understand why people here think that they have to have proof to believe anything. No one can say what happens before someones death. If he did accept Christ as his savior than that is awesome. I pray he did, not becuase he is Mike, but because the glory goes to the Father. I read stuff on here that is kind of off. People are saying things like (I need more proof). Why do we need more proof? Who are you to ask for it? Why are we so concerned with it? Do we show the same concern for others around us that are dying or living in the dark? I just think its amazing how we treat this different than anything other situation. If he did accept Christ than God gets the glory and I am happy. Only God knows if he really did. Words can not say enough.

Dustin I can understand that stance with those still living and you're peeping their lives and not witnessing anything that is a witness of a true conversion and then again have to be careful with the living because we come to Christ jacked and the Holy Spirit does a work in us for a lifetime.
I would like to hear it from the mouths of those that spoke to him however also encouraged by the comments here, who just ups and pray for Michael out of the blue? Nothing limits God from redeeming His.

I feel you brother Don, something similar happened to me about two weeks ago. My wife and I was just u-tubing some old Michael Jackson performances and videos. After viewing the people's compassion and adoration for Michael back in the early 80's v/s the way people had been treating him toward the latter part of his career, calling him "Wacko Jacko," in addition to his finiacial stress, compelled me to feel a deep sorrow and nonjudgemental concern for him. With my wife sitting next to me, I began to feel so much compassion for Michael Jackson, to the point that it brought me to tears. I immediately began to pray in my spirit for him. I felt the weight and pressure of how people can turn on you at the drop of a dime, and how selfish people can become in order to use you for the sake of talent then throw you away as if you are nothing. Lastly, I saw the importance of always keeping Christ at the center of our lives so that when people let you down, you have assurance and stability in Jesus the Rock. We have to learn to never be quick to judge a person, you never know when or who God can use to save that person. It is not God's will that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9

On the real bruh! That's not for you to say if "God saved him or not". What kind of statement is that, coming from a Christian who's primary job is to led folk to him. So if that's the job, how can you say I don't know for sure!
Leave that part up to God and celebrate this man's life. As you can see he had a rough life anyways, give him some credit and thank God the story is what it is. Weather you believe someone got saved or not is not your place, you don't save people or even confirm salvation you led them to Christ, say the sinners prayer watch over his witness and life actions and keep it moving.........
That's the most problem I have when I minister to the unsaved folk is. People from the church!
