Kansas City, Missouri has had a secret growing behind the scenes since 2007 it’s a new label called Kingdom City Records. Founder Michael Watson who is a professional basketball player had a dream and a love for all music genres followed by a heart to reach youth the world over. So, with close friends in his sphere of influence, Michael pursued beginning a record label and now 2 years later he and the Kingdom City Records staff have seen so many lives changed for the Kingdom of God. “The vision is simple, to lead people to the love and saving grace of Jesus Christ. We understand the time and challenges we face in today’s society where the word “Christian” is likened to just another word and has lost its true meaning. Kingdom City Records is dedicated in reaching the lost and encouraging believers with Biblical, Christ-centered music. We also realize that music is only one part of the ministry and that discipleship and evangelism are essential tools in reaching our goal, says Michael Watson founder of Kingdom City Records.
