no problem, man. i don't think it's a sin since the artists provided the music for free, especially since the original link doesn't seem to work well anymore and it actually says under the album art "THIS PROJECT IS NOT FOR RE-SALE. FOR PROMOTIONAL USE ONLY". but i kno what u mean, man, it drives me crazy knowin that almost everybody i kno downloads music illegally. and with the recording/production/musician/etc. thing, i don't kno any myself, sorry.

Hey man thanks, I was just about to dload it from a different spot since it was a FREE album lol... question, if it's a free Album, is it still a sin to dload it from a site other than the first one you saw? I googled it for a while and found the mediafire link... but I'm kinda shying away from dloading music, it hurts the artists and technically is stealing. It's amazing though, because SO MANY PEOPLE DO IT!!! That doesn't make it justifiable by any means though, I don't support it... just would love it if we could pull the plug on all the illegal dload spots. Thank God for His Word though, makes dloading His works illegal, and GREATLY boosts people respectively buying music again, out of love, and out of obedience to God. Keep this up, and Christian Hip Hop will be known as the Primary Rap outlet! Let's KEEP PUSHING PEOPLE!!!
BTW, anyone know where I could look up N4 on a Christian Recording/Musican/Producing/Designing Contract? Trying to build the foundation right, you know?

I no this happens when you first listen to a cd and maybe in a month or two I may change my mind but THIS IS THE BEST URBAN HIP HOP APPEAL EVER!!!! Dre is on point. The productions is pure mastery. I was just talking to a dude today who evidently did some dirty things. I told him about Moses and David. He felt like what he did God could not forgive him. I said if God can forgive Moses after killing an Egytpian and use him to deliver a whole nation what can he do for you Long story short, what he was saying sounding just like Dre on this Album. God can redeem any one. This album is official!!!!

Every song on the album is fire. They all say something real. I like how he put his self out on "Empty Spaces" and how he told the story on "Brand New", also, I never been to Houston but "Welcome to H-town" and "Hells Paradise" gave me a good mental picture of what it is.
One of my favorite lines of the album- "...U in the hood / u doin fine/ Out da hood/ U cross the line, he done lost his flippin' mind/ Hit dat boy with da nine........thats five dimes/ i'm so closed to 50/ that I can grab the mic and takeover my city/ forget a band 'cause i don't need a diddy/ As long as the whole hoods wit me......"-248 Ways to be Stupid, so real yet dumb in the minds of some people.
This album is classic. It was good to see japhia on it also- "Pages of Life", his first album is along the same lines as this. I would give it more than five mics!
Albums off the hook boyz. Love the name love the message. Don't sweat the religious crew that give you lip they always got somthin to say they just can't see the plank in there own eye yet. They love debatin dribble rather then manifesting the love of Christ. Stand firm.
what up everybody...this is wit...again thanks for all the downloads and all the kind words. we will be addressing some of the issues and concerns that some people are having with the project very soon so sit tight.
as far as secular beats, the whole project was 100% original production. yes, some samples have been used on other songs but thats commonplace in hip hop! just clarifying that. u will rarely hear a sample that has never been used before lol. hope that helps!!
again...THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. and please keep spreading the word about the project. this is why dre and i felt the need to make this free. we did this for yall. hope yall are blessed by it, and can bless others WITH it.
peace!!

Some of these beats are kind of sample from Secular artist like young jezzy circulate and Outkast ATaliens. But the songs they sample from are sampled from old school albums. So some there are no original beats. So people can't argue the album is all stolen from Secular RAPPERS.

This album as on "Fyah"! I'm bout to give a donation to Dre and Wit for this CD. We all know it's not easy being a Christian artist. That's evident as we saw how the album was pushed back. They did this for free? It might not be much to split between the two of them, but I'm still gonna give somethin.

For all of those taken back by some of the content on the album.
It's a free CD! Everything isn't as deep as what people try to make it. You take the pros and cons and you take everything as a grain of salt. Overall the dude was just bein transparent. Dude wasn't talkin bout doin sinful deeds. At some point you just have to learn to have your own opinion off what you take from things regardless of whatever some "Holy Sheriff" thinks. I'm not knocking holiness, I'm the first to preach holiness. However I think you should go with your initial thoughts, unphased by what you research or hear on the internet. If it's wrong and you are a "True believer in Christ" then the Spirit will let you know. Don't bash the cat for speakin about his struggles. I really think that he did a good job of helping people who may be goin thru the same things. And he did so without compromising his Christian beleifs.
God Bless you Dre! Oklahoma, Texas stand up for the body of Christ!

Dre, props on the new album. I think one of the best albums I have ever heard... no lie. The sound is incredible and lyrically its off the charts. I love the fact that you tell it how it is, say what is on your heart and have the ablility to express your emotions. You take it to where no other Christian artist will go and your real about it. Crazy album, and amem to the fact that you use your talent for the Lords work. God Bless!

Thanks for the CD. Highly artistic work. I understand the theme and the disclaimer, although I still have so reservation about the overall content. How lose do we get to the world without being too close? It's a fine line that's found through skill and maturity. I'm concerned that if this is practice by CHH often, then we'll find ourselves on the wrong side of the line more often than not. We got to be careful about feeding our flesh while doing the work of God; yes, that is possible. I must reiterate though, the album is a great creative artistic accomplishment.

This is way to good to be free. lol. Props to yall man. The payoff for this one is gonna be worth more than cash. Storing up riches in heaven. God bless son. Album's fire for real.
Hey I tried that 7 zip thing and it didn't work for me. For those who are trying to download the album. Go to win 7 website - get the free 14 day trial- download the free win zip- then once you downloaded the free win zip then go back to this same website and download the album in win zip format. once its complete a little windows box will pop up ( just click evaluation version) this will depress the file for you to extract and send to your music file. God bless

Excellent top notch lyrics, mind-blowing production, Wit and Dre have truly crafted a masterpiece here. The album is worth so much, the quality is very clean and professional. I know this is free, but will there ever be any physical copies?
i downloaded this a couple minutes after it got posted, and i've been listenin to it since. this is really high quality for a free album, and i'm honestly surprised that i like it as much as i do. dre murray and wit both killed every track, some of the best work i've heard from both of them. it was also good hearing japhia life on a track. haven't heard him since the heartsville leaks, and though i'm still hoping heartsville and westside pharmacy come out eventually, it's good to hear he hasn't lost anything on his lyrical ability.
