UPDATE: LIVE STREAM KILLED
As many of you know today we were to stream our DaSouth.com presents "The Life in Hip Hop" Concert at SXSW live over the internet, but due to technical difficulties beyond our control, we have decided to terminate the feed. It has been raining terribly in Austin, TX and the theater where we are holding the concert internet went down and is completely out of commission. We are not sure what exactly happened, but we tried to "press through" by using a wireless aircard. Unfortunately, the speed of the aircard is not fast enough to stream the video. The video was lagging terribly and the audio was very choppy. As to not torture anyone with this kind of experience, we made an executive decision to "kill" the feed.
We do apologize to anyone who was looking forward to sharing in on our experience. These kinds of things happen. Again, this was beyond our control.
We are attempting to record the concert for playback later though. So pray all works out. Also, the concert is going great! Pray that those in attendance who do not know the Lord are impressed to live for him, and those already serving Him are further encouraged.
Thanks for understanding.
Sincerely,
DaSouth.com

South by Southwest (SXSW), the premier Austin-based company dedicated to building and delivering conference and festival events for entertainment and related media industry professionals, has invited back several Houstonians to organize the Christian hip hop showcase at this year’s affair.
Taking place Saturday, March 20 at Austin’s George Washington Carver Museum and Cultural Center, DaSouth.com presents The Life in Hip Hop Concert will showcase performances from some of gospel hip hop’s most polished performers.
