The Allan Houston Foundation is inviting basketball enthusiasts to sign up for the Father Knows Best Basketball Tour.  The FKB Tour is a unique combination of high powered basketball and learning activities for fathers-sons, fathers-daughters, and male mentor-mentees.  Below is a personal letter from Allen to explain his vision for the basketball tour.

and sons, mentors and mentees from all across the world have been bonding, growing, learning and laughing
through workshops and playing basketball together with me, my father, my son (Allan III), and other friends
who have a passion for serious fatherhood and responsible male leadership.

Father Knows Best earned its title because we ALL have a Heavenly Father who loves us and leads us into the
powerful destiny for which He has called us. In doing this, He also teaches us how to be good fathers to our
children, loving husbands and supporters to their mothers.

I believe we are in the most critical time in history for our fathers and father-figures to step into our designated
roles as examples of true manhood. We MUST have an urgency about our actions as we lead our next
generation. The first way we do this is by prayer. Job frequently rose early in the morning and pleaded to God
on behalf of his family (Job 1:5). 1 Peter 2:9 says ‘We are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation’
