MUSIC FROM SONGWRITING AND PRODUCTION TEAM ‘PK’ APPEARS ON REHAB, THE CHART-TOPPING ALBUM FROM CHRISTIAN HIP HOP ARTIST LECRAE.
PK Celebrates The Album’s Impact Across Six Billboard Charts Including The #1 Position On The Gospel Albums Chart For Second Week In A Row.

PK is a bi-coastal songwriting and production team whose career took a major leap with the recent #1 Billboard debut of Lecrae’s Rehab, released September 28th on Reach Records.
PK receives credit for three songs on the Rehab album with production of “Check In” and co-writing and production of “Walking on Water” and “Used to Do it Too.” On Billboard charts the album is currently #1 - Gospel Albums, #2 - Christian Albums, #6 - Independent Albums, #8 - Rap Albums, #16 – Digital Albums and #40 – Billboard 200.
What progressed in a dream-come-true series of events started with PK being introduced to Lecrae while working in the studio with The Nevels Sisters. Though they didn’t land song placements on that record, their music passed hands and caught the ear of Shamael Lataillade at Lilly Mack Publishing and in the end it was her mother, industry veteran Vicki Mack-Lataillade who got PKs music directly into the hands of the powers-that-be at Reach Records. The rest of their story is an exciting journey continuing to unfold day by day.
PK members Ace, Motown and Finance strive to create sounds that reflect them as individuals, yet collectively portray their love for God. Keeping residence in both Atlanta and Los Angeles allows their music to stay progressive and the myriad of influences keep their creative juices fresh.
“When we are in the process of creating, the first thing we do is mentally prepare. We talk, relax, listen to music, discuss what’s going on in our lives, and the world. That sets us in a zone that brings our music to life,” shares Finance.
Soon to be added to the PK creative portfolio is their debut Urban Inspirational album. Music is currently available for download at www.pkallday.com.
PK creates music that crosses many genres as it mixes pop, rock, hip-hop, and soul. With lyrical content based on their personal experiences as well as others close to them; PK addresses current events and life issues. “Urban Christianity” is the term the group uses to define its blend of lifestyle, religion, and music. With faith as their guide, PK mixes God’s word and today’s sound to impact pop culture.
