 How To Enter 

Entering is very easy. Just follow these simple steps.

1. Download the official contest track (below)
2. Write and record a verse about why you would never turn away from God
3. Create a FREE Soundcloud account and upload your verse there
4. Email the URL of your verse on SoundCloud to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
5. Post the following message on your Facebook and Twitter:

You have until Sunday, February 26th 12am EST to enter. Any submissions after this date and time will be ineligible.

 Writing Your Verse 

Remember, your verse should be about why you would never turn away from God. When writing your verse, the rules are very simple:

• Must be 16 bars
• Must be biblically sound
• No profanity
• No provocative or sexual references
• No references to literal violence

Hint: Your verse should start around the 00:12 and end around 01:04. That will be approximately 16 bars.

 Submission Guidelines 

When emailing your contest entry, please include all of the following:

• URL link to your verse on SoundCloud 
• Lyrics to your verse pasted into the email (no attachments please)
• First and last name
• Stage name
• Age
• City, State, Country
• Twitter username (optional)
• Facebook page (optional)
• Website (optional)

 How to Win - VOTING BEGINS FEB 26TH 

VOTING WILL BEGIN FEBRUARY 26TH. When we receive your email, we will embed the SoundCloud player of your verse onto DaSouth.com with it's very own contest entry page. There will be a Facebook Like button on each contest entry page, and that button will be the means in which votes are counted. The entry with the most Facebook Likes will win. Viktory and DaSouth.com will also select their favorite verse, meaning that there will actually be two winners in the end.

Winners of the contest will need to provide the following:

• Reference track (your verse with the music)
• Main vocal track (your verse without the music)
• Overdub track (optional)
• Hype track (optional)

Audio must be in MP3 or WAV format.
